Gmail IMAP

Google finally implemented IMAP support for Gmail accounts (which makes it possible to read email on your desktop  without using a browser).  This is the one thing missing from making Gmail the optimal email solution. Thanks Google!

Now, it was taking some time to roll out, but I eventually got pretty tired of waiting, so I set out to find out if anybody else still were waiting as well. After some research it turned out that the solution is to set your Gmail interface language to English (US). Mine was currently English (UK).

Seriously, WTF?

Anyway… now I’m happy.
